Farah

QTLS, PGCE & TEFL qualified graduate teacher with over 12 years experience teaching abroad and the UK, currently teaching Economics and Business at an Outstanding Academy. Subjects include A Level Economics, A Level Business, A level Law, GCSE Business and GCSE Economics. Exam boards covered: Edexcel, AQA and OCR.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for over 12 years in a variety of school settings including private and state. I have consistently been assessed as providing outstanding learning opportunities to a variety of pupils, including those with no previous Law, Business or Economics knowledge and English as a Second Language. Former pupils of mine have applied and been successful at securing places at Oxbridge, UCL, LSE, Bristol, SOAS, Nottingham to name a few.

Tutoring Approach

I take a student centred approach and streamline learning materials to suit the students preferences. For example, students who find extended writing challenging, I provide essay templates, connective words and paragraphs and model answers to help build their confidence in writing.
