I am a GCSE and A-level Mathematics Tutor. I have a BA & MMath from the University of Oxford (Corpus Christi College). I teach all AS and A2 Level Modules including Maths and Further Maths from Edexcel, OCR, Pre-U and WJEC.
I graduated with honours from the University of Oxford where I read Mathematics, and wrote a dissertation on Analytic Number Theory entitled 'Applications of the Bombieri-Vinogradov theorem'. I have been teaching in Reading and London for the last 10 years and I am an official examiner for OCR. I am a Gold Tutor with Oxbridge Applications, the highest tier possible, and also work with several major players in the education sector including Bonas MacFarlane and Aspire Education.
I have 10 years tutoring experience of getting A-level students into Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities including the University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Imperial College, University of Warwick, University of Bath, St Andrews, and more. I am affiliated with Oxbridge Applications (now part of Dukes Education Group), Aspire Education, Colour Learning, Riviera Tutors, Bonas MacFarlane, and Bright Young Things.
Tuition generally takes place at my home in central Reading. I am available throughout the year. I have a full enhanced CRB check and DBS Certificate.
If you are serious about your education and want to achieve higher exam results, please do get in touch. I am confident that I can help you achieve better grades.
Learning does not need to be difficult. I see no point in wasting the time of my students. My approach is quite simple: show up for lessons, learn the basics and practice them for at least 30 minutes a day (at least 1 hour a day for Further Maths students) and you will get to where you want to be quickly. This hardly seems like enough practice for those who currently spend all day in the library without getting anywhere. But that's just the point: most people *do not* practice effectively. I can help you with this. Most students go up two grades (from C to A or from B to A*) in just 10-15 hours of lessons.
