Personal Description:

My name is Emmanuelle.
I am a French native and I moved to England 10 years ago.
After completing my Masters degree in International Relations I decided to stay in London to work.
I started my career in consulting but quickly found the need to go back to academia and teaching, something I have always enjoyed.
I am an expert in 3 subjects: languages (French and Italian), History and International Relations.
I am passionate about these subjects and I feel grateful to be able to combine my passion to my work.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring since the age of 17 years old. First in Paris whereI was helping pupils with difficulty completing their homework.
When I moved to London, I started tutoring adults and secondary school pupils with French classes. I later on helped students with exam techniques for GCSE and A Levels exams.
Since 2010, I have been teaching in both state and private schools in Oxford and London. I am mainly teaching French and History to GCSE and A Level students.
I have enjoyed all my different teaching experiences and I want to continue to share my knowledge through teaching.

Tutoring Approach:

My role is to understand students' needs and support them in their studies.
It is very important to me to take the right amount of time to help students understand specific points they haven't understood in lessons.
I dedicate myself to adapt my teaching style to my students depending on their needs.
My purpose is to help them improve step by step and feel more and more confident in areas where they have difficulties.

There isn't one solution for good teaching or tutoring. The secret is in adapting our teachers' methods and knowledge to the needs of a student.
