Emma has been playing clarinet for 14 years and later took up both the Piano, Saxophone and Flute, which she plays at a similar standard. Emma has recently graduated from Leeds College of music with a 2:1 in Classical Music, majoring in clarinet performance. She is keen to help inspire others to play a musical instrument. Since University Emma has taught many students, including both adult learners and school students. She teaches both beginner and experienced musicians.
Alongside teaching, Emma is a freelance musician and has gained experience playing in several different musical styles and environments. These include playing in Orchestras, Wind Bands, Pantomimes, Operas and Operettas where she has got the opportunity to play both the Alto Saxophone and the Flute. As a result to being a member of so many different ensembles Emma has gained experience in playing many different instruments, including the Eb Clarinet and the Baritone Saxophone. Her proudest moment yet is getting to play at the Royal Albert Hall as part of an orchestra. Emma currently plays with the Leicestershire Bardi Wind Orchestra and is looking forward to many upcoming concerts.
