Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I am currently training to be a theatre director at the King's Head in Islington, and alongside that I am a writer, musician and lover of being outside. Growing up, I lived on the sites of schools for children with special needs, and my own schooling career involved lots of relocation and little consistency. I have seen and experienced the flaws in the education system, and as a result appreciate the value of being well-taught. Without my English teacher's inspiration and utter dedication, I would never have even considered applying to Cambridge. I would love to help your child in their studies in whatever way they need, and I hope that you consider me.
I have two younger siblings, and growing up I assisted them with their learning. I have also been an active member of youth groups, and later a volunteer, so I am accustomed to working with young children. My experience as a tutor for A Level English means I am capable of assisting students with high demands placed upon them, both personal and educational; and my work with Chickenshed shows me to be a patient and adaptable teacher.
I am a diligent and enthusiastic tutor, who can ably cater my teaching style to every individual, whilst maintaining a consistent structure in their learning to help them make progress. I am kind, encouraging and a good listener. I enjoy teaching because I care about people and I want to help everyone realise their full potential.
