Hello! I'm Ella, a 23 actor and teaching assistant based in West London.
In 2017 I graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA in English Literature and Theatre (High 2.1 Grade with a first in my Final Year Project), having previously trained at Arts Ed, finishing in 2014 with a Foundation Diploma in Acting (Distinction Grade).
Leeds is consistently ranked highly in University league tables, and during my degree I was able to read vast amounts of both literary texts and criticism, whilst also developing skills in textual analysis and essay writing. I'm an enthusiastic person, with a genuine passion for my subjects and hope to pass that on to current students.
I have my own car and an enhanced DBS check.
Currently, I work as a supply teaching assistant in local primary schools, specialising in 1:1 classroom support to SEN students.
During University, I worked at the Leeds Playhouse teaching in the Youth Theatre department, with children aged 4-19.
Work smart. From my own experience studying, I have a variety of tips and tricks to help knowledge acquisition, essay writing and revision methods.
But, I also want to avoid simply teaching how to methodically pass exams. I want to encourage open and in-depth discussions on the subject matter because I believe an enthusiasm for the course leads to a higher success rate.
