I very much enjoy teaching children and adults and have extensive experience of both. I am a History graduate who worked in many jobs. For 27 years I worked for British Airways, much of the time as a trainer, tutor and organiser for the IT graduate programmes.
When I worked for British Airways I spent many years teaching graduate entry training courses on Assembler programming as well as many courses on computer packages. I also became a tutor to colleagues and was involved in teaching foreign graduate courses outside the UK.
After leaving BA I taught children of primary age as a volunteer - I found I had a knack of teaching children both English and Maths.
I have also successfully taught English Language GCSE as a private tutor, to pupils who had struggled to reach the required standard.
I am happy to respond to whatever approach my pupils or their parents want. It may be starting from first principles, assisting with homework or preparing for tests and exams.
