Information About Elham - Hove tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Elham:
I am from Sudan and have been living in the UK for 16 years. I am a native Arabic speaker and have an Advanced Level Diploma in Architecture from the University of Khartoum in Sudan. I have excellent skill with mathematics, in particular algebra, trigonometry and geometry.
I have taught maths to my family including my one of my sons at GCSE level. I also have experience teaching my autistic son and have helped to improve his basic skills.
My son's first language is English, however I have taught him to speak Arabic fluently and we speak this in our home.
My approach involves demonstrating visually to students, using examples and taking my students through their working and mistakes. I like to offer practical real-world applications for trigonometry and algebra, as this relates to my background in Architecture. I believe that by instilling the rules in my students I can help them to solve any problems they may encounter.
In relation to Arabic teaching, I use a conversational approach, highlighting the grammatical rules and also demonstrating how to write in Arabic.
