Friendly and very experienced tutor with near to 400 hours experience tutoring Maths and Science. My specialist subjects are Biology (up to degree level), Chemistry (up to A level), Physics, Mathematics (up to GCSE level) and Numeracy (for aptitude tests and clinical settings). I tutor online and also face-to-face.

I am very enthusiastic about science and passionate about teaching. I adapt my teaching methods to suit my students’ needs.

I graduated from UCL in 2014 with a Bachelor`s degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Biomedical Sciences. I recently achieved a distinction in a Master`s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London. In September 2018 I will begin a Medicine degree (accelerated graduate course) at St George`s, University of London.

Tutoring Approach:

Everything is personalised to each student, from the homework I decide to set to how I plan to explain a concept in a lesson.

I plan activities and discussions for lessons.
I push students with questions to check their understanding - but make sure to encourage them also.
I always end with a 5 minute summary.
I always send homework/assignments to consolidate what has been learnt in the lesson.
I sometimes make my own worksheets to ensure students are working from the best suited material.
I am very patient and happy to re-explain concepts.
