I am a full time PhD student in applied mathematics at UCL.

I gained 7 A*s and one A at GCSE, also obtaining an unconditional scholarship at North London Collegiate. Here I took Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry A-Levels, getting 3 A*s and one A. I completed my undergraduate degree at UCL gaining a first class honors in mathematics at master's level.

Throughout my time as a UCL undergraduate I have consistently gained firsts and during my second year was chosen to mentor the year below. Also during my time at UCL, I have been involved in serval maths engagement events via Chalkdust Maths magazine.

I can code in Python, Matlab and Mathematica and can also format mathematical documentation using Latex.

I tutored during 6th form and again tutored undergraduate mathematics during my degree in a more informal level.

I am happy to teach mathematics at all levels, including:

-Keystage 1

-Keystage 2

-Keystage 3

-GCSE

-A Level (all modules)

At university level I will tutor modules covering

-Linear Algebra

-Complex Analysis

-Newtonian Mechanics

-Introduction to Probability and Statistics

-Fluid Dynamics (covering both Euler and Navier-Stokes equations and applications such as Geophysical Fluid Dynamics)

-Biomathematics

-Mathematical Ecology

-Introduction to Analysis

-Finite Difference and Finite Element methods

-Computational Methods

-Ordinary, Partial and Stochastic Differential Equations and the methods of solving these equations

-Area and Volume integrals

-Mathematical methods, including but not limited to, Perturbation theory, Fourier Transforms, and Phase Plane Analysis.

Feel free to contract me if you would like to check if I will tutor a module.

I understand that there are a number of reasons why someone would need a mathematics tutor at all stages of life. From using more visual and graphical explanations to learning via repetition, I believe in tailoring my approach to suit the student.

From Sarah (5/5):(Primary Maths)We are thrilled to have found Eleanor and our daughter looks forward to her hour of maths with her. She is an excellent tutor and has what seems an endless amount of patience. Eleonor is brilliant at gauging the correct pace of learning for our 6 year old and makes maths fun whilst making sure that solid maths foundations are built.
