I have just graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and currently working as an actor in London. Before drama school I completed a German degree at Bristol University.
I helped lead and coordinate theatre workshops (in German) for primary and secondary school students. In 2012 I tutored a year 10 student through their GCSE German oral exam. I often coach younger actors for auditions for professional work and drama school applications.
I believe that the best way to learn a language is to use it as much as possible. This will increase your confidence and consolidate grammar and vocabulary. With that in mind, I like to keep learning interactive through conversation practice, writing small compositions on topics that interest you, listening to German songs, watching German film clips and turning grammar problems into games or puzzles. If you were interested in finding a German Pen Friend, I could arrange this for you and would write an email to them at the end of every session. I am also happy to look over school work that you are struggling with and can conduct practice oral tests nearer exam times.
