I'm a languages graduate who has been fortunate to benefit from the advantages language learning provides, from travelling and working abroad to making new friends and enjoying foreign cinema! I am passionate about encouraging others to learn a new language, whether for academic purposes or conversational support when on holiday!
I am a qualified Primary languages teacher and taught French and Spanish in Primary schools in England for 5 years as part of the Key Stage 2 curriculum. On returning to Wales I began adult languages tuition.
I am qualified to degree level in Spanish and French, and recently completed a Masters in Translation and Interpreting with a distinction.
I am able to support young children in acquiring their first skills in language learning, students in revision for their exams, through to adults looking to develop their conversation skills for holidays.
I use a range of resources in my teaching to bring the language to life, from authentic online resources to prompts for useful dialogues and personal conversations. With children I love to use songs and stories and would be happy for parents or carers to sit in too!
