This is how 2 referees rated Edward:
My name is Edward. I am a native French speaker and I have lived in Paris all my life, until I moved to Southampton to study Aeronautical Engineering. As a result of my father being English, I am fully bilingual. I also attained a high level in my Option International du Baccalauréat (OIB) (A derivative of the French Baccalaureate) in June 2012, which comprised of a variety of subjects such as English and French literature.
I have been actively tutoring French for over 2 years with both English natives and non-natives. I have now improved my classes greatly thanks to the constant feedback I get from my tutees. My classes often include self-created online quizzes, looking at the French news and discussing the culture, reading French novels and watching series… All depending of the level and the interests of my tutees of course!
As a tutor, I will provide the correct paths and answers in order for the tutee to feel as independent as possible in French and make him/her progress in a efficient way. Depending on the level, I am willing to give my class 100% in French. For Adult/University level, I can refer if needed to my previous french teachers whom which I am still in contact with.
