I am a recent Sociology BSc graduate from the University of Bath (Currently the second best faculty for sociology in the UK).

My Dissertation project involved the exploration of Technological Integration in the Modern Western Workplace. Specifically the focus on security, surveillance and potential of social media within a professional capacity.

My current employment is at a sixth form college in Taunton, Somerset with the Student services, careers and support teams.

I do not hold a teaching qualification as of yet, but the next step for me after completing my two year placement at the college is to complete a Post-Compulsory teaching qualification with the aim of teaching Sociology at A Level.

I am therefore happy to tutor students for 90 minute sessions on any topic regarding sociology or psychology and will hugely benefit from any experience gained atop my current employment at the college. I am keen for experience and not driven by economic gain.

Tutoring Experience

I currently work as a Student Liaison Officer at Richard Huish College, Taunton. My role involves working on a one-to-one basis with students for 'Study Skills', teaching revision techniques, time management, organisation and essay preparation etc.

I also manage the college's Student Union, Student Council and extra-curricular enrichment opportunities.

I have ran group workshops and presentations about university life and the application process, including personal statement work.

I also run the Sociology Society, Debating Society and Disability Group at the college.

Tutoring Approach

I have a great level of academic insight into the study of Sociology and Psychology through my recent undergraduate journey at the University of Bath. I studied both subjects at A Level also, and provide students with revision sessions and techniques for an array of subjects at A Level standard.
