I have always loved teaching and learning. My passion is Geography and I keep up to date with what is happening in the world on a daily basis. I have been described by colleagues as knowledgeable, warm, approachable and patient.
Having taught Geography in secondary schools for over 35 years to KS3, GCSE and A level, I have the knowledge, experience and skills to help all types of learners to achieve to the best of their ability and beyond.
It is essential to be clear on what needs to be learnt and the key concepts and content that students may be struggling with. With the increased amount of content that courses now demand identifying the learning that will help the student improve their achievement the most is critical. Being able to assess a students current capabilities is vital to ensuring the tuition is tailor made, enjoyable and reaps the most benefit.
