Dominic is an extremely motivated and passionate English Teacher who strives to bring out the very best in all of his pupils. He is currently Deputy Head of English and Key Stage 4 Coordinator at an Outstanding secondary school in East London. He has taught all year groups from 7-13. Last year he worked for AQA as an English Language examiner.
He gained Qualified Teacher Status with a Grade of 'Outstanding' alongside the two year Teach First Leadership Development Programme. He has a wide range of academic qualifications in teaching, law and politics, all of which he brings to his role as a tutor. Prior to embarking on a career in teaching he graduated with First Class Honours in BA Politics from the University of Leicester. He then went on to study for a Graduate Diploma in Law and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP University.
He is an avid follower of emerging educational trends and is constantly changing and adapting his teaching methods in light of new research.
One of Dominic's main passions is travelling and he has been lucky enough to travel across countries in South America, Asia, the Middle East, North America, and Europe. He enjoys running, reading and going to the theatre.
