I am a researcher in Civil Engineering at the University of Exeter. Teaching is one of the pillars of my career and I am also passionate and keen on teaching, looking forward to continuing through an academic career in my life. I am also very eager in communicating the beauty of sciences to other learners and I look after the learner's needs very seriously.
Since I began my academic career, I challenged myself teaching engineering basics, maths and physics to undergraduate and postgraduate students. For example, twice a week I am a marker for Maths students who are attending a self-pace course as well as teaching assistant in physics for Engineering Foundation Year students (the equivalent of an A-level). I have also obtained a qualification as Associate Fellow with the Higher Education Academy, which is awarded to those researchers who are into teaching and are developing their teaching skills towards a teaching career.
My approach is very empathetic, tailored on the individual needs and shaped on the students' pace. I am also aware of diverse students and understanding science-related language code and happy to discuss any amendment to the teaching method when appropriate.
