Information About Deborah - Ely tutor
Gifted teacher, patient, used to teach high achievers, average and struggling students. I have been living in the UK for almost ten years while I grew up in a French speaking country. Aside my language skills, I have specialist knowledge in English and French Law hence, the aptitude to understand both Common Law and Civil Law.
I have taught at primary and secondary levels in three counties. I am at ease teaching people from various backgrounds and nationalities. I have about seven years of teaching experience. Experienced tutor, with adults in small groups, one-to-one basis or in classroom situation, delivering face to face tuition, former Associate Lecturer in French with The Open University in the East of England, Cambridge. I have also taught overseas in private schools and state owned schools. I hold a teaching license from overseas.
I like to convey my love of French language to the learner and I make sure at every step the learning process is appropriate to the learner. I prepared students for Cambridge examinations from abroad, as I have myself been through elitist educational systems.
In law, I can teach English Law, having studied the seven foundation subjects of English Law but also French Law having studied it at a French University. I have been in past an online tutor with a Law Tutoring company from London. I have additional legal skills.
