I am a graduate of Durham University and before this was a self-taught enthusiast in Ancient History and Classics. I have a passion for teaching and helping other people learn, I specialize in ancient cultures and warfare. I am an amiable person who is more comfortable around other people, my theories and considerations on classical civilizations are always changing with new evidence and so I am capable of keeping a student ahead of the curve in current research.
I plan to use my degree to enter teaching abroad, most likely in America, but I will always be available to tutor during this time.
I have tutored other students throughout my degree, mainly Foundation Degree level students who need a helping hand. As such teaching on a one to one basis is something I am more comfortable with.
I am an amiable person who is more than capable of making sure a student is at ease and happy, in my experience the more relaxed a student the more likely they are to take on board what they need to be taught. I am punctual and totally flexible, I can teach different perspectives and events from Roman, Greek, Celtic and Near Eastern ancient history. I am excited to pass on what I have been taught over the last four years and to meeting those who wish to learn.
