I am married and a father of two, being involved with the media in many ways since I was 14 my passion was always in that field and sport. My media speciality is documentary and am looking to complete a research doctorate in a field surrounding around media.
As a sports coach with a rugby and basketball specialism. My coaching and knowledge of PE is transferable through all disciplines.
I have been teaching since October 2000 to a variety of levels, in recent years my teaching has been concentrated on level 2 (gcse) and level 3 (UAL, BTEC and a-level) enjoying a near perfect pass rate throughout the past 12 years.
I have extensive teaching experience in print-based media and tv and film in both theoretical and practical areas where I have strong knowledge of photography and in video editing both linear and non linear systems like final cut pro and Adobe Premiere. I am also well versed with software within the Adobe CC suite which includes inDesign and Illustrator.
In terms of my PE knowledge I have been involved in all types of sports for over 20 years from the coaching to more theoretical sports management sector.
My approach is relaxed, I find this helps as I can adjust my style depending on different circumstances of the student.
