This is how 3 referees rated David:
I am a Secondary Mathematics teacher and I live with my wife in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I find teaching to be very rewarding; I am passionate about teaching Mathematics and helping my pupils improve their understanding. My continued study and my teaching has given me a broad knowledge of Mathematics, how it is used, and how it is taught.
I have been tutoring since 2014. I have helped tutees studying at GCSE to Degree in Mathematics, Engineering and Psychology. This experience means I am able to help many people with Mathematics in different contexts.
I am a qualified Secondary Mathematics teacher and I have been teaching since 2017. I have taught Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 Mathematics and I have taught pupils with a range of ability and need.
I worked in MathsAid at Newcastle University from 2014 to 2017. I helped students with Mathematics and to prepare for numerical tests for job applications.
Everyone is different and learns differently, so I adapt to what works for my tutees. I think it is important to be comfortable with a topic before moving on to a new one and to know how a new topic connects to previous and future topics.
