Full-time private academic tutor and LSE Prize Winner - highest overall score on the Accounting & Finance BSc programme.
I am an experienced tutor and have helped pupils secure entrance into the UK’s leading public schools and universities, and have helped many pupils achieve grades A/A* in their GCSE and A-Level examinations.
I graduated from The London School of Economics top of my degree class, having achieved the highest total score on the Accounting & Finance BSc programme. I studied a range of disciplines including Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics and Statistics. I scored exceptionally high marks in all of these exams, and have a genuine passion and interest in these subjects.
I have over 5000 hours of private tutoring experience, and have completed many more hours during voluntary tuition. I have experience teaching students from a range of backgrounds up to Masters level students. My previous tuition has been a mixture of home-schooling placements, regular evening tuition and short-term intensive placements prior to examinations.
My specialist subjects are Economics, Business and Mathematics, which I typically teach up to IB or A-Level, although I can these teach at higher levels upon request. I also offer interview technique advice, mentoring and studies skills support.
I tailor my lessons to suit the students unique circumstances, ability and learning objectives. This flexible approach, combined with my engaging and personable character has allowed me to succeed in helping students significantly improve their academic performance and secure entrance to many leading public schools and universities.
Whilst I understand the importance of adhering to a subject's curriculum, I encourage students to study beyond these in order to obtain a varied and wide-ranged understanding of a subject. This helps a student master the subject and to perform well in classwork, homework and exams. I also rely heavily on ensuring students truly understand the material they are taught and try my best to make the lessons enjoyable for the student themselves.
