I am studying Mathematics at the University of Manchester.
During my A levels I started helping GCSE maths students who were struggling with their homework papers on Wednesday mornings before first lesson. This was the first bit of teaching I did and it made me realise how much I actually enjoyed sharing my knowledge and how satisfying it is to see someone improve as a result of your input. I enjoy opportunities to help someone out with maths because some people just really don't click with it, which I understand, but I also think the teacher and environment you are in when learning makes a big difference to how much you enjoy the subject and how good you feel you are it. I would hope by providing a more focused and friendly environment, my tutees would be able to learn more and maybe even get some of the satisfaction that I do out of maths.
Well practiced tutor with multiple GCSE and A level students from a range of backgrounds and abilities.
I have delivered one to one help sessions in schools to secondary and A level students.
I hope that I am a tutor who is more easily related to as I have recently been through my own A levels and often help my younger sister with her current GCSEs.
Bring your problems with homework or tests and we can go through them in detail.
