Personal Description:

Hello! I am a fourth year medical student at UCL Medical School.

First in iBSc Neuroscience, UCL.
13 A*`s at GCSE, A*A*A*A at A level.

FIRST LESSON HALF PRICE (if you travel to me).

Available for in-person lessons from early September onwards. Skype lessons available from July - September only.

I am a dedicated tutor, and I believe that everyone is capable of achieving, if shown the right methods to do so. I find that many pupils at school are not given sufficient resources and `individual` time to realise their full potential, and I believe that it is my job as a tutor to fill this gap and instil confidence in my tutees through regular practice, and encouragement, in whichever subject they require.

I focus primarily on exam technique and tailor my teaching to each student, regardless of their age. Having had recent, first hand experience of public exams, I know all the `tricks of the trade` to make passing that little bit easier!

Medical Schools
I am willing to tutor prospective medical students for UKCAT, BMAT, medical school interviews, and personal statement writing.

- Recent knowledge of UKCAT and BMAT
- Score of 760 in UKCAT, and 1.0 above national average in BMAT

- Five years` experience
- Intimate knowledge of `test day` through personal experiences and helping out at my own school during previous 11+ exam days
- Understanding the qualities desired by selective grammar schools and what they `look for` during scholarship interviews.
- Personally achieved a scholarship to three private schools in Birmingham (King Edwards VI High School for Girls, Solihull School and Edgbaston High School for Girls)

Please don`t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, I look forward to hearing from you!

Tutoring Approach:

I am a very easygoing, approachable person. I'm able to show you the 'tricks of the trade' required for passing public examinations (such as what to do for those pesky ISAs/ EMPAs for science subjects!) I tailor each session to the individual pupil at their skill level, focussing on areas that they require. I may also set some additional work to be completed at home, so that each pupil gets the maximum benefit our of our tutoring sessions.
