This is how 2 referees rated Daniel:
I was raised in South Yorkshire and was taught at state school. At 18, I was given a place to read Land Economy at Cambridge. Having graduated with a first, I'm confident I can help tutees achieve their potential, too.
With recently having been through the university application stages, I would be more than willing to help tutees adapt their applications accordingly. I enjoy teaching others, and I hope I to help improve tutees' educational abilities.
I have 10 GCSE's (6 A*'s, 4 A's and a B), 1 AS Level in Government and Politics, 4 A Levels (grade A), and an MA from Cambridge.
Before university, I volunteered as a free tutor within school. Since being at university I have managed charity projects involving young learners of a variety of ages. In addition to this, I have been required to manage various projects, whether relating to study or extra-curricular, and so I find myself able to prioritise and help others. As a tutor, I would try and help you hone the skills necessary to succeed in the different subjects you are studying.
Economics was one of my favourite A-Levels, having completed my A2 exams early. I'm very enthusiastic about the subject, and very knowledgeable of exam techniques.
Before jumping into a programme of tutoring, I will ask how best you learn and then test to see if I agree. I believe that it's necessary to discover whether you are a visual learner, or, say, an auditory learner and then adapt our tutoring sessions as we see fit. In regard to lesson plans, I would research and analyse the necessary topics of study required, and present a timetable of when, and how, we would achieve certain goals. If asked for, I'm more than happy to provide progress reports.
