Information About Daniel - Cardiff tutor - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Daniel:
I graduated from King's College London with a first class (hons) bachelors degree in Chemistry with Biomedicine in July 2017 and am now studying Science Communication at Cardiff University. As both a science student and communicator, I am looking to use my knowledge to help younger students with their studies and enable them to discover the joy of understanding how the world around us works. Trust me, I know how hard studying can be, but as someone who has finished my degree and A-Levels within the last five years, I know what it takes to achieve success. I have previously tutored an A-Level student for a year, via SKYPE, who achieved an A grade in his AS exams. Throughout that time, I have developed a teaching method which both engages, informs, and most importantly, helps the student to understand what is needed to reach those higher grades.
I have previously tutored an A-Level student for a year, via **Contact Detail Removed**, who achieved an A grade in his AS exams. Throughout that time, I have developed a teaching method which both engages, informs, and most importantly, helps the student to understand what is needed to reach those higher grades. I have also worked as a tutor on a number of occasions at my former sixth form, The King John School: Working in the science department, I helped A-Level and GCSE students with their exam techniques and knowledge, as well as course work and ISA's. I have worked with a range of age groups, from year's 7-13 and understand the challenges of teaching each particular year group.
I like to base my tutoring on what the student feels they particularly need work on during their studies at school. It would be foolish to go completely off topic from what they are learning in class, and so I see myself as an aid to boost their understanding of what they are covering at that moment. I wish to use this opportunity to work with students to further develop my approach that suits both the students and myself and I will endeavor to create an atmosphere which is layed back, but also focused - the best way to learn!
