I am a 20 year old college graduate trying to earn a bit of extra money for my future.
I have qualifications in both Higher Math and Childcare and Development.
I am calm, friendly and approachable.
My standard rate is £20 per hour for Key Stage 2 and £15 per hour for Key Stage one but if this would be a struggle for you, your child's education is more important and we can discuss a cost that works for you.
If you have more than one child the cost reduces each time like so:
KEY STAGE 2:
Child A: £20 p.h
Child B: £15 p.h
Child C: £10 p.h
KEY STAGE ONE:
Child A: £15 p.h
Child B: £10 p.h
Child C: £5 p.h
If you have more than three children they will be tutored free of charge however I would not tutor more than five as I believe in giving each child enough attention and support.
Again, these prices are negotiable.
I come from a large family so I'm very experienced with children.
I have had experience tutoring friends children but I am new to tutoring as a profession.
I first like to meet with parents and discuss what areas your child needs support in. This is all done free of charge and just helps me get a better understanding of working environments, the children's strength and weaknesses and also helps you decide as a parent if you feel I'm right for you.
When I tutor I try to find a method that works for your child. I believe in breaking things down and helping your child to understand. I work slowly if they need me to.
Correct answers and progress is always praised and I do carry gold stars and stickers.
Wrong answers are not to be criticised. I praise your child for trying and explain where they went wrong.
I can provide homework for them to complete alone, this is optional and carries no extra cost.
