I am a qualified and experienced secondary teacher and politics examiner for Politics and History with much experience teaching UK politics, political ideologies including Conservatism, Liberalism, Socialism, Feminism and Nationalism. I am also experienced in teaching US and International politics. I focus on what the student needs from teaching content to practising writing skills to best display knowledge and gain top marks. I specialise in exam preparation for GCSE, iGCSE and A Level. I am based in Cambridge and can travel to other parts of Cambridgeshire if required.
I have been a qualified teacher for eight years in schools within East Anglia. I have much experience of helping students to improve their writing. I was described by Hodder Education as their number one highlight of the 2014 teaching conference for my argument and analysis teacher training course.
I have experience as a teacher and examiner of what the exam board is looking for to give full marks to the question being asked.
As a tutor I get to know my students and to gauge where they need to be challenged, whether this is in the detail, the clarity or the time they take to write an answer. I have high expectations of myself and the student so that together we can achieve their full potential.
