I was born in the UK but I was brought up in South America attending spanish speaking school all my life and also lived in Madrid for 7 years so I am fully bilingual. I have a fun but very professional attitude to teaching and try and making the lessons entertaining. I am fully committed to my students and take great pride in helping students to learn and improve on a language which is so important in the world.
I have taught Spanish to English famlies during my stay in Madrid. I have had many individual students whilst living in London and I also taught after school club Spanish at a school in Bedford. I have been tutoring GCSE students for the last three years and managed to achieve excellent grades and give them the confidence they were lacking!
Once you have the basic pronunciation and vocabulary down, then start doing repetitions with your children. So make sure you pick a time when he/she is not tired, and send a lot of positive energy: laugh, cry out of joy when she/he utters a Spanish sound, so your child associates Spanish to a good time, and you too have fun in the process. I am very friendly, patient and approachable and always enthusiastic about what I do. I am a reliable and organised person and love working with people of all ages. I also have excellent time management and communication skills.
