I am a patient and calm teacher who continually delivers challenge to my pupils. I feel it is vital that they can face into this challenge through the skills and knowledge that they have at their disposal. The challenge is tailored to the individual pupils needs to ensure that they don't feel overwhelmed.
I am enthusiastic about the development of the students in my class, and that enthusiasm invariably has an impact on them.
I am offering one to one tuition in Maths within South Buckinghamshire for Key Stages 3,4 and 5.
I have been teaching at a local upper school for the last two years. In my second year I became the Key Stage 4 Coordinator, and will be the Head of Department from September 2017. I teach both GCSE and A-Level classes. I also manage the intervention programme for Key Stage 4. I currently teach all abilities including pupils with special educational needs.
My approach to tutoring mirrors my approach to teaching. I feel it is vital that students have the fundamental building blocks in place in order to face the challenges that they will encounter.
I have a targeted approach that determines the specific area of a pupils development and actively addresses these areas through differentiated resources and teaching strategies.
