I am a 36year old qualified teacher with thirteen years teaching experience, I hold a joint honours degree in German and French, enjoy travelling regularly around Europe, and keep up to date with current affairs in both countries. I lived in Lyon, France and Innsbruck, Austria, before starting my career. I come from Milton Keynes but now live in Renfrewshire and am available for tuition in the surrounding area too. I currently teach in North Ayrshire and am fully qualified to teach National 5 and Higher/Advanced Higher in both French and German.

Tutoring Experience

I am currently a teacher at a large school in North Ayrshire. I have taught French and German for 13 years, I am familiar with exam board criteria as teach both languages up to all levels.I hold a joint honours degree from the University of Wales, Bangor and PGCE from the University of Warwick. I am familiar with both the Scottish and English education systems.

Tutoring Approach

Learning a language is an important skill in today's world. We encourage as many students as possible to take a foreign language at Nat 5 and Higher Level. Some students could do with that 'little bit extra' support, especially those students at Higher. I am available to help your son or daughter through their exam courses. This maybe help with controlled assessments, or exam technique. It might just be that you need help with spoken examinations.I can help.I know what the exam boards require.
