I am a 23 year old student currently beginning a PHD at Queens University Belfast and in the process of completing a Masters in Legal Science in Queens University Belfast. In terms of my PHD, my research area broadly constitutes the interrelations between Politics and data (Open and Big) as they relate to government trasparency and power. I undertook my undergraduate degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. I have a high 2.1 in the aforementioned degree and am comfortable tutoring AS/A2 Politics, AS/A2 History, AS/A2 Law and GCSE Politics, History and English. Indeed, I have an A* in both A2 Politics and History and an A in GCSE English literbature and an A* in GCSE English Language. More significantly, I have a B in A-level English and as such GCSE English is pretty simple for me to teach given the academic leap between GCSE and A-level English.
I've provided a great deal of help to friends, family and peers in the aforementioned subjects. Moreover, I have an anthology of pre-prepared A* grade essays and critical literature.
With regards my approach to tutoring, I think de-complicating both the content and process of essay writing to be the key point to come out of any successful tuition. Moreover, the teaching of particular and easily deployed, 'Value adding hints, tips and tricks,' is in many respects crucial to bolstering marks with, quite honestly, minimal additional effort on the part of the candidate in question.
