I haven't taught anyone officially but I would like to start as soon as possible and offer my time to anyone who wants to learn more about Classical Civilisation and literature for free. All I ask is travel fare if needed, otherwise teaching via the internet is always an option.
I'm a very sociable and out-going student from The University of Winchester. I began studying Classical Civilisation and ancient history during my A-levels at Newcastle 6th Form College. I am very passionate about Classics and ultimately it's a subject I aspire to lecture at university level or in secondary schools. The Greek and Latin languages are also part of my interests and studies.
Although I haven't taught officially, I would be a great candidate to cover the basics to someone who is familiar or new to Classical Civilisation. I spent time in a an institution called Arts for Well-being, which is a facility that caters for the physically and mentally disabled. There I assisted in helping members in exploring their artistic abilities so they could express themselves more easily.I also attended a school in Darby during the summer in which I was introduced to learning Latin and studying the Classical texts at an advanced level. I am very communicative and patient and teaching is something I thoroughly enjoy.
To begin with I think that the most important part of my approach to teaching is the analysis of the benefits of studying every single aspect of the Classical Civilisation. I want to inspire and innovate students so that they develop a deep understanding of the classical world in all of its forms. I commit to my students and their needs and always adapt my methods accordingly.
