I am currently studying Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London. My course requires a very strong foundation in mathematics and physics for the engineering side of it and also a really good knowledge in chemistry and biology to solve real life problems.

Before university, I passed the French Baccalaureate with "Mention Tres bien and Felicitation du Jury " (the highest distinction in the French system) with a score of 18.25/20.

Tutoring Experience

I've been tutoring students from the Lycee Francais Charles de Gaulle for the past three years.

As I enjoyed it a lot, I really want to repeat the experience this year. I think tutoring is also really valuable and rewarding for the tutor, as well as the student.

Because I am used to the French system and the French baccalaureate course structure, I would be happy to tutor students up to Terminale in any scientific subjects.

With regards to the English system, I would be happy to assist students studying towards the GCSE qualifications as well.

I would also like to offer French oral sessions and refresher speaking courses, as well as French grammar and even beginner courses, since French is my native language.

Tutoring Approach

The most important thing I want to bring to the student is confidence by helping them realise that a little amount of efficient work leads to great results. I also hope to give students the desire and enjoyment to work.

During a session, my approach would be to first make sure that the student understood the concept he/she saw in class. Then, I would invite the student to take some practice and past-exam paper to be familiar with the technique to use for each kind of exercise.
