I am very passionate about Learning. To this end, I have returned to university to complete post graduate study, whilst also working full time as a Primary Teacher.
I am very organised and like to encourage my pupils to develop their organisational skills too.
I am an outgoing individual, with a fun sense of humour. I believe that pupils respond best to a teacher who can make them feel at ease and have fun while learning.
I am extremely dedicated to motivating all learners in my care to achieve their potential.
I have been teaching for ten years. I have a wide range of experience in teaching all areas of the curriculum from Nursery up to Primary 7.
I have taught pupils with a variety of additional needs and I have always been able to support their needs.
I believe that I am a teacher equipped with all the tools needed to educate and prepare children for the 21st century.
I like to identify pupils' preferred learning style and plan lessons accordingly. I promote lots of active learning in my sessions, learning should be fun and memorable.
If my pupil is in agreement, I will set short homework tasks which can be completed independently. This enables the learner to practice their skills before our next session.
