Chris stepped in to tutor both our boys at GCSE and A-Level respectively a few months before the Summer exams. The boys found him entertaining/engaging and so their concentration in lessons was v.good and they improved dramatically. Chris's teaching style is quite animated and this created a dose of 'Mary Poppinsesq' magic in making what can be quite a dry subject interesting for our boys. In particular he helped the boys visualise maths with memorable nicknames for difficult topics like circle theorem which meant the concepts and the detailed elements within them 'stuck'. I would thoroughly recommend Chris.

A good A'level tutor with a thorough knowledge particularly of mechanics. Chris teaches from his own house which suits some but now all students.

Chris does have cats so be mindful of children with pet allergies.

James has made good progress with his maths and become far more confident with the subject thanks to Chris's enthusiasm and knowledge.

Chris has as a great rapport with my son Tom and he always goes the extra mile to ensure Tom is satisfied with the session and understands everything they have covered, even if it means going over the 2 hour session time. He is flexible and really keen to see results. He is totally reliable and always punctual. I would recommend him totally as a top maths tutor.
