Born in the South of England with a degree in Spanish and A Level in Maths.
I have always thoroughly enjoyed learning and applying maths in a professional capacity and love sharing my enthusiasm for the subject with my students.
Private one-to-one teaching for various age groups and levels, in addition to group work with adults.
As Maths can often be a subject which fills a student with fear, the key to a successful and enjoyable learning experience is confidence. It is important to identify areas of weakness and address these thoroughly to ensure that a complete understanding of a topic is obtained. I encourage my students to ask questions of and actively engage with the subject matter with the end goal being the use and application of the skills that have been learnt, with confidence. Taking the time to understand a student's interests allows me to prepare and provide the optimum learning material and resources in order to aid learning. Maths should be a fun and exciting subject to tackle as a learner, as well as a tutor.
