I`m Chris, Head of Physics, working in a large secondary school, achieving success with high, middle, and low ability students across all age ranges 11-18. As well as having a huge bank of resources to share with a tutee, all of which I use in my classes.
I`m also an Exam Moderator, and marker, working with the exam boards on their papers - meaning I have a wealth of experience in exam technique, which is half the battle in GCSE and A level.
I focus on making science interesting! Making the content relatable to my students, engaging them in their learning, increasing the uptake of information, which ultimately will lead to better exam results.
Don`t hesitate to contact me if you have any specific questions on topics, or you want to be taught everything again.
Based in Liverpool for the last 9 years and teach in a great school in Bebington, Wirral, so I cover between those ares. I can tutor anywhere in the following and, surrounding areas:
East Liverpool (most of Merseyside really)
Online tutoring also available, using electronic pen and tablet, with Microsoft OneNote, for online, real time collaboration, with the student (or other free online software such as iDroo). Currently tutoring a number of students living in London and Home Counties.
Very successful at teaching all age groups, at all abilities. I specialise at Physics at A Level, GCSE, and teach Physics, Chemistry and Biology to KS3 students. I love my job. I employ modern teaching techniques, combined with a fantastic range of resources.
It's important to know your tutee and understand their needs first, build a professional relationship with them, in order to maximise learning.
