This is how 2 referees rated Christopher:
I'm a recent Masters of Engineering graduate (2:1) from the University of Bristol. I went to school in Tonbridge, scoring A* in Maths, Physics, Chemistry A2 and Further Maths AS and A in Music A2.
Having just finished a gap year post graduation, I am balancing the beginnings of a solo singing career with a jobhunt!
I'm also a keen sportsman, playing, coaching and umpiring hockey locally.
I'm an enthusiastic, intelligent individual with good communication skills and very good results throughout my educational career so far, all my students have beaten school predicted grades and one in particular in Maths and Physics by 2 whole grades in his Year 10 mocks following just 2 terms of tutoring.
Classroom Assistant in the Physics Department at Tonbridge School during 2016 tutoring students and learning to teach classroom lessons. I was also a hockey coach for the school.
Recently I was employed as a team leader by a fundraising agency, demonstrating and teaching effective sales skills to new charitable fundraisers.
I'm a relaxed, friendly individual and I have a strong problem solving attitude combined with good leadership skills to help a tutee to come to understanding a solution, not just to rote learn an answer.
I see the role of a private tutor as not to be working through a set curriculum, but rather to tailor a programme of learning to an individual's requirements. I am comfortable enough with the subject areas of Maths and Physics that I can work through individual questions with a tutee, while I also have the time to create resources if needs be.
This is something we can talk about and I am happy to find a happy medium depending on requirements!
