I am a recent Economics BSc graduate from the University of Leeds and am hoping to apply for a masters in Economics to begin in September 2019. I studied Economics, Maths and Religious Studies at A-level, achieving A, B, B respectively. I also achieved an A* in my Maths GCSE.
I tutored maths at school to year 11's whilst I was in sixth form, with great success. I helped a particular tutee achieve a B grade in her GCSE who was working at a C grade beforehand. I have also helped friends in years below me at university with courses they are struggling with in Economics and Maths.
Students respond best to a teacher who is enthusiastic about what they are teaching. I am very passionate about my subjects; and in particular Economics is of strong interest me. I am currently working as an Economist and wish to pursue further study in Economics so I will be very enthusiastic about tutoring the subject. I have experienced many teaching styles so I am adaptable to how students best learn and believe recently being a student gives me a unique advantage of coming at problems from a different perspective than a school teacher would.
