School can be tough, and every student deserves the support they need in order to understand the material. I have worked with over 80 students through online and in-person tutoring sessions that result in a better understanding of classroom material and a boost of confidence in academic pursuit. I always keep my sessions thorough and concise, and I make sure that my students always walk away with a better understanding of the subject. I have been a private tutor for over 8 years and teaching is truly my passion. I obtained a Masters of Medical Science from the University of Toronto. I am fluent in English and Vietnamese. I am available for online tutoring or in-home tutoring in Cambridge.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience working with students in middle school, high school and university. I have also worked with students with learning disabilities. I am also a lab instructor at U of T for the Med YSP program in which I work with high school students to help them learn university labs.
On top of that, I also conduct exam prep courses for over 50 students in Biology at the University of Toronto.

Tutoring Approach

I can help you in organic chemistry, physical chemistry, biology, math and calculus. I have experience in tutoring IB, AP and university students. Specifically at U of T, I have tutored CHM136, CHM135 and BIO230. I also have experience working with teens who struggles in class due to mental health concerns.
I am a very patient individual and I always make sure my student grasps a concept clearly before moving on. Additionally, I also help my students to work towards achieving better studying habits and managing school related stress.
