I have recently relocated to Wales and have 3 grown up children and 3 pets. I would like to tutor online as I cannot teach in Wales. I miss the interaction with children and helping them to achieve their best. I enjoy walks, watching sport and reading. I also have taken up doing jigsaws during lockdown.
I have a wealth of experience over my 26 years of teaching. I did become a childminder when I had my own family so my life has always been centered around children. I have worked in different schools in different social areas. I have been head of many subjects including wellbeing and PSHE, Geography and PE. I introduced a new wellbeing scheme in one of the schools I worked at. I have also run a variety of clubs too.
I am a kind, patient and caring person. I believe in order to achieve your best, you need to feel safe to make mistakes and then learn from them. I have an organised approach to my work and take pride in my work.
