I have a 1st class MSci Physics degree from King's College, London. I love maths and the science and I am passionate about tutoring as it allows me to pass on my knowledge and enthusiasm on to others and most importantly, help them to succeed!
I have been tutoring for the last 10 years and in that time I have tutored hundreds of students from KS3 up to degree level. I am proud to say that the tuition that I provide consistently helps the student exceed their expectations and excel in their studies. I provide exam and coursework preparation as well as ongoing support to provide additional support alongside the student's studies. I am experienced in teaching all exam boards and provide my students with past papers and fully worked through solutions to aid their personal study time.
My approach to tutoring is largely exam focussed. I will sit down with the student and talk through any problems that they have come across and explain how it should be done. I then sit with them and work through a number of examples, starting relatively easy and then stretching them further. I find that this enables the student to push the boundaries of the subject without realising. To tuition sessions I bring a number of past papers to work through with the students. This helps the students to focus on what they need to know for the exam and provides valuable exam skills. I am also happy to provide additional work for the pupil to work on between sessions, which I will mark and give feedback for each week.
