I am a young teacher of secondary mathematics with a degree in psychology and a background in teaching children with special needs. In particular autism. I also enjoy baking and decorating novelty cakes which i do in my spare time.
I have been teaching mathematics for 10 years now at secondary level and have been subject leader for the past 4 years. Iam very enthusiastic about my job. Before i qualified, i worked with autistic children, teaching them communicative, social and motor skills. This job also entailed me working within primary schools and nurserys for 3 years. I also have 8 years gcse marking experience.
I present mathematics in a functional and fun way for all my students and can break mathematical concepts down in the simplest way.
I offer one to one sessions.
I also offer GCSE revision school sessions ( up to a maximum of 3 students in one session) during the school holidays. These intense 1 or 2 hour sessions will give examination tips, techniques, mathematical knowledge and past papers to take away with them.
These can become quickly over subscribed so please contact early to avoid disappointment.
These sessions are offered at a reduced rate:
One student = £35 per hour
Two students = £30 per hour
Three students = £25 per hour
