Charlotte

I am a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced tutor of the arts and languages. I was born and raised in London and my parents are Franco-German (I am bilingual French). I am a classical musician and dancer and creativity is the lens through which I view the world. I also practice yoga and meditation.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 6 years experience teaching and tutoring. I have helped students at A level enter top UK and US universities including the University of Cambridge, Bristol, St Andrews and New York University. I have taught as an A level teacher at a private one-on-one tutorial college and been an examiner. I have also home-schooled students. I am experienced with SEN students.

Tutoring Approach

I tutor a vast spectrum of historical periods and I specialise in 20th century Modernism, the Italian Renaissance and visual analysis. My classes are structured around analysis of artworks and periods using Powerpoint slides, analysis of art historical texts or detailed discussion of my student's essays. My lessons are highly tailored to each student's individual needs and interests and I am constantly renewing my materials and methods to best suit you. I look forward to working with you!
