Private Maths and English Tuition in Crawley

Hi, I'm Charlotte, a 28 year old currently working at Young Epilepsy in Lingfield. For the past 5 years, I have been the manager of the Explore Learning centres in Crawley and then Redhill, tutoring children aged 5-14 in English and Maths. Having worked for Explore Learning, I have a wealth of experience working with, and teaching children, both at the centre and at local schools. Within the role, I was responsible for ensuring our team delivered incredible education, however was also the safeguarding officer, ensuring that the centre met Ofsted regulations and that the safety and welfare of all children in our care was upheld.
I have a degree in Education and Early Childhood Studies and am passionate about delivering education to build confidence in children, that they can also replicate in the classroom and in life. I aim to make learning fun and make sure my sessions are something the child will look forward to!

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is very much dependent on the student I am working with and what will motivate and engage them. I always aim to make my sessions fun and never a 'chore' for the child. My absolute goal is to make each child find an enjoyment in the subject and for them to leave the session feeling confident, and being able to transfer this into the classroom and their wider life.
