Tutoring Experience

I have 30 years experience of teaching both in the UK and around the world. I have taught in many types of educational institutions. I have encouraged many young people over the years and enjoyed facilitating the learning to achieve their very best potential. I have been a Headteacher and a senior leader in schools for many years.

Tutoring Approach

True and profound learning requires stepping outside of your current knowledge comfort zone and entering the unfamiliar or even the unknown. This courageous step can only be achieved within a safe and nurturing environment. I have mastered this balance as my current and former students will attest.
Alongside positive 1-2-1 support and encouragement, I have invested in quality hardware to enable me to explain as well as share what are the line-by-line steps leading to every solution. Alternative approaches can be discussed to ensure complete understanding, removing all doubts and uncertainty.
