I am a Cambridge mathematics graduate, and also have a Doctorate in mathematics from London University. I continue to use mathematics in research and have published papers in Proceedings of the Royal Society A and other journals. My approach to mathematics at any level is to keep things as simple as possible.
I have 15 years experience of tutoring mathematics at all levels up to degree.
I try to address the student's problems first. Usually tuition is supplementary to school work, and I seek to fill in any gaps in understanding so that the student is able to follow the school course. I like to take a relaxed approach in teaching. Extra tuition should help the student by making schoolwork easier, not be an additional burden.
