A well-spoken, well-presented and punctual individual who thrives on meeting and discussing ideas with people. Benefits from studying in the USA include development in my cultural awareness. I am currently taking my Masters degree in SOAS.
At secondary school I participated in a course called Teens and Toddlers. There we would look after some of the younger children. We were also taught the importance of interpersonal skills and having empathy for others. We also learnt how to supervise the children there. I feel this was really beneficial for me as I have developed an interest in helping and being more supportive towards other people, and to working with people younger and older than myself.
I am a friendly and down to earth person who learns best when I feel supported. I am sure many looking for a tutor can relate to this. I like to evaluate ideas and concepts from every perspective so I fully understand the concepts. This helps me to support others as I can analyze from whatever point a person requires most support from.
