I am a Spanish and French Secondary teacher currently working in Glasgow. I have lived in a couple of places in Spain, spent a year in Chile and have also studied for a term in France. I studied French and Spanish at the University of Glasgow and returned there for my teaching qualification. I am very passionate about learning languages and think it is something everyone should do!

Tutoring Experience

Whilst living abroad I worked as an English teacher, gaining a lot of experience teaching a range of levels. I did my probation year in Glasgow then worked in Falkirk for 3 years, before returning to Glasgow this year. I have taught beginners right up to Advanced Higher, so I am very familiar with SQA qualifications including National 5 and Higher.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that the most important thing when learning a foreign language is boosting confidence. Be it in talking, writing, reading, listening, building vocabulary or understanding grammar, I have a range of approaches to suit every area for development. I believe it is important to get to know my pupils well so I can tailor an approach most suitable to them.
